Sleep & Rest: 8 hours of sleep with a couple of interruptions.
Kundalini Yoga: Nothing to report.
Sun & Air: Only walking outdoors.
Sweat & Fun: Nothing sweaty, but I did walk a lot.
Mono Meals: Mixed melons / Watermelon / Bananas / Avocado & mixed lettuces
(2 meals were not mono, but not too bad. Less than 3 ingredients)
Creative Work: No. :( Busy day seeing friends, saying goodbyes.
Give - Share: Gave a friend a birthday gift, gave lots of hugs, a few kisses, & shared many thoughts.
Incorporeal Bliss: Feeling like I am enough. Being able to feel that is bliss. I had a few moments today of feeling like I am not good enough, not yet "there", not presentable, not meeting the standards. But then I snapped out of it and realized that I am a living spirit. Not just a body, not just some-thing, but a holy being full of infinite possibility & grace. Why would that not be enough? It's limitless & perfect.

I have another question! .... How many meals do you normally do a day?? This is because I, myself, am looking for the best system (that works for me). In the past, I used to do the 3 regular meals but now I have switched to two or even one meal.... try not to eat at night and usually eat nothing before 11-12am. But I have found that I tend to eat a lot in those (1 or 2) meals... so now I am thinking if I should "split" them again into smaller intakes.... but again, wouldn´t want to be tiring my digestive system by eating all day long...... wow, hope I made myself understood.... a bit confusing? ... just wanted to get your point of view... In the end the thing is little (portions) and often vs. "generous" (portions) and only once or twice a day. I guess each one should look what fits best.... but it is still not clear for me!!!

You are totally clear & I am in the same boat! Sometimes I eat 2 big meals (12pm & 5pm), other times it might be 4-5 meals. I do think my energy is best with smaller meals starting earlier in the day. I will have to test this out further. One thing that dictates this (how many meals) is what they are. If it's salad or durian, I have fewer meals, if it's banana or grapes, I eat often. Eating by hand throughout the day. But you can't do that with a recipe meal or a very heavy meal. So I think sweetness, fat, fiber, water-content, quantity, volume, etc., of the food choices are all part of the equation. I notice that people who only eat one meal have more fat in their diet (nuts, oil, animal, etc.) or concentrated foods (vegetable juices, superfoods, refined grains) & people who eat a lot have more water-content & volume. Like a head of lettuce is like 50 calories. It's BIG, but doesn't compare to nuts or fat. Same with cucumbers, zucchini, berries, etc., you will be eating a LOT if you compare if to a cooked, dehydrated raw, fatty, high-protein or concentrated meal. For me it always changes. I go through months of lots of juicy foods, then I go through durian or avocado phases & begin to eat less often... it all depends. I'm still working it all out. :) But on this blog I usually separate the meals (with this -> /). So you will see how often & what as I go along. Keep me posted on your findings. I want to know too. Even reading your question was helpful for me. :)
Yes, I suppose all those factors play a role. Also that each day is different and we may want to have one prevalent system but can make some modifications at particular times. Discipline, yes, but flexibility as well. We do not want to become tyranos......To me, it is best not to eat at night and to spend the few first hours in the morning empty. If I start snacking from early in the morning it seems that I will keep going all day long.....Once I start eating it seems that all my inspiration is gone!!! This subject is specially important to me because it has a lot of influence in the practice of yoga and meditation. Still working on it (and improving, hopefully!). As I usually say: experiment with yourself and not with the others!!!

Have you done much water fasting?
I think we talked about it before. But I really do have my best days when I'm only consuming liquids (juices, smoothies, purees), or when I'm fasting.
When the digestion is free the mind seems to follow. The mind becomes free as well. :) It's all very interesting.
...but I would definitely say, my mind is much more free on a juicy diet (grapes, melon, cucumber, romaine, etc.), then on most other diets (except all liquid). With juicy fruits you could actually eat a big meal, then exercise 30 minutes later! I could have some sweet fruit & them meditate fairly easy too. If I had grains, legumes, avocado or nuts, I wouldn't be able to do very much afterwords & my energy would be disturbed. Probably for hours until digestion settled. After it settled, then energy would return. Juicy fruit isn't really like that. It's much easier & faster.
I have done some short water fasts, yes... and it is real bliss when you get rid of "the food matter" ..... Last summer I spent 30 days on juices alone and it was amazing.. energy levels were really high. But this year I am really stuck on fatty foods (nuts, oils and avos) and it is getting hard to get rid of them. And I can feel it: feel heavier and energy levels are lower. Really longing to go on a juicy fruit diet.... I totally agree with you, this is what works best...
I want to do some more fasting (on water) in the next 6 months. I had fantastic results when I did it a few times this year. Especially when tied into moon cycles.
Another juice diet would be nice too. I feel amazing on just juice, but I haven't done it for years now. Not since 2007. I miss it.
I would love to get a group together to either juice together or fast (on water) together. I feel it helps to have support & encouragement. Keep me posted if you have a time in mind & want to do it with friends (via internet). I will definitely post on this blog if I decide to do it again soon. :)
By moon cycles I mean ...solstices, new moons, eclipses, full moons, etc.
God, it seems that this conversation could go on for ages!! I definitely support the idea of getting together via internet to make some kind of program... that would be fun and at the same time, as you say, allow to get some support and feed back. Let´s think about it and keep posted. I might start a new blog, more focused on this kind of stuff...... This is really exciting! For the moment I want to follow a diet as "juicy" and "mono" as possible. Simpler is better....
So far I have only done short water fasts. 1-3 days. Last one was 5 days and it was almost "dry" (did not drink anythin at all). It was funny, as if I did not want to leave the fast. What moonphases do you usually choose?
Some say the waning moon is best. (Best time for "letting go"). But I like Vernal Equinox, Summer Solstice, Autumn Equinox, Winter Solstice. Last winter solstice I did an 18 day fast. It was fantastic. I can't wait to schedule another. :) Hopefully next time I can try some dry days. They say the dry days are 3 times as powerful as water days. So your last dry fast equals 15 days of water only! Amazing. I want to try it. :)
